Osman Ismet é Currit revotes bail to many of the 50 thousand euros and is assigned the detention measure

The Constitutional Court in Pristina has revoted the bail of Ismet Osmani-Curri in the amount of 50 thousand euros and has allocated the amount of detention 30 days after failing at Monday's (July 1st 2024) session. In this case, Ismet Osmani, Sami Nica, Ilir Boyku and Mentor Maqani are accused of committing criminal work “Fade” and “task”, while accused Adil Thaci is tasked with criminal work “Defee”.
“REVOOKING... With whom the accused I.O has been interrupted the detention measure, which has been replaced by the bail measure, CAKTOE the detention measure, in the period of thirty-30 days, counting from the day of arrest”, reports the court's ruling, “Justice Vow”.
Under this decision, provided by the “Justice Vow”, the amount of bail of 50 thousand euros was left on the part of Osman's family and that the same has been reported on the consequences of disrespecting the bail measure.
Also, the ruling states that the court, even with the case of taking personal data at the hearings held, had announced the accused Osmani's obligation to announce to the court any changes in the address.
Thus, the ruling court has clarified that even though it has issued an invitation for the July 1st 2024 session in order, addressing the police station in Gracanica personally to hand over invitations, the police station has announced that Osman's house is closed.
Also, the court has confirmed that the arrest issued for the next case is now active, so according to the court against Osman, legal conditions have been met to revote bail and to be appointed 30-day detention.
Similarly, the court has announced that the same warrants would be issued in order to go into custody for 30 days.
The Act against Ismet Osmani, known as “Curri”, Sami Nica, Ilir Boykaut, Mentor Maqani and Adil Thaqi, was founded on November 19, 2021.
The five accused, at the session held on July 15, 2022, were declared innocent of criminal acts that weigh them down.
On November 23rd, 2022, the Constitutional Court in Pristina had ruled out requirements for dropping the indictment and rejecting evidence submitted by defenders, Kosovo lawyers Kelmendi, Besnik Berisha, Naser Soopjani and Artan Kerkeyni.
The Court of Appeals, on the other hand, had confirmed the establishment of the foundation by which the requirements for impeachment and opposition to evidence had been refused.
By contrast, Osmani is being charged by the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina for the criminal act of impeachment and obligation alongside Sami Nika, Ilir Boyka, Mentor Maqan. And Adil Thaci is charged with criminal work “Fraud”.
