Office: Rexhep Selimi and Sokol Basota have been to the KLA's Operative Directorate of Staff

During his testimony at The Hague, witness Bislim Office said the task of going to the Drenica Zone was taken by Sokol Basota and Rexhep Selimi, who, according to him, were at the Kosovo Liberation Army's Operational Staff Directorate (UÇK). Initially, an earlier interview was presented [...]
Initially, an interview was presented earlier, in which he had said Rexhep Selimi had commissioned the office on duty to provide consultations in the Drenica operational zone.
That's correct. Both Sokol Basota and Rexhep Selimi, the second were at the Operative Directorate. So I remember that even in time, the first time I went out to visit Drenica was Sokol Basota, then with Rexhep Selimin”, the witness said.
The office stressed that during June or July 1998 it was in Lapusnik and that the first time it said it was with Rexhep Selimi, the commander of the local unit, as well as with Fatmir Limaj.
Then, for a document presented to the witness, there were objections to the defense of the accused, claiming that he had no stamp, date, and signature. According to defence, the credibility of the document, therefore to be rejected, is problematic.
After this document, another one was introduced, in which, according to Prosecutor Clara Laweson, were decisions to unify two units of an operational zone. The Office, however, said that it knows the names mentioned in that document.
Also released was another document reportedly applying for KLA car signs.
I know there's a sign behind the KLA sacred, but for the Military Police in particular I don't know. I can't remember”, said the Office, in response to the prosecutor Lawson's case of whether they had KLA cars and military police special license plates.
