Motorcycle action police seize 27 in Ferizaj

Kosovo police have confiscated 27 motorcycles and scooters in Ferizaj, as part of the action plan “Motocyke 2024”.

Police have also imposed 61 fines for various crimes caused by motorcycles.

A media communiqué by the Ferizaj Regional Police Directorate said that during patrols and checkpoints, police have banned several motorcycle and scooter leaders who were in violation of traffic regulations.

Motorcycles and scooters were confiscated as their leaders had no regular documentation.

The Ferizaj Regional Police will continue with increased activities in road communication, aimed at preventing accidents. We prefer the motorcycle leaders to be careful in communications, to respect the rules, and to equip themselves with necessary documentation”, the communique points out.

Police also thanked citizens for their co-operation and encouraged them to continue reporting any offenses.
