Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has announced that Kosovo authorities have managed to locate near the cemetery in the town of Podujevo (the Tule), the mortary remains of an individual, who is suspected to be from the list of violent missing persons during the recent war in Kosovo.
Haxhiu has said that the location of these mortore remains was made by forensic teams from the Institute of Legal Medicine, Kosovo Police, EULEX and Government Commission for Missing Persons ( KQPZH).
“> Today, in the cemetery near Podujevo, the forensic teams from the IML, with support from EULEX, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police and the CECZH, have managed to locate the mortore remains of an individual suspected of being from the list of persons missing with violence from the last”, Haxhiu has written on Facebook, Klankosovat reported.
The minister said excavations are continuing in search of other individuals.
For this case, Garrim from the Government Commission for the Unfinders within the Government of Kosovo has also announced.
He said the evaluation excavations initiated yesterday at the site of the town's (Tule) cemetery in Podujevo have resulted in the discovery and exhumation of 1 individual/person, “Warvikim”, which continue to be on the List of Missing Persons.
