The ministry bans flow of vehicles that are heavier than 7.5T, due to temperatures

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Environment and Spatial Planning has indicated that it has taken measures with the flow of vehicles in the country due to high temperatures.

Deputy Prime Minister Hysen Durmish on Facebook has indicated that there is a ban on road, national and regional flow for all freight vehicles that weigh more than 7.5 tonnes.

“Based on recommendations of the Kosovo Road Management and Police Department, with the goal of preserving roads from injuries as a result of high temperatures we have made decisions:

There is no traffic on the highway, national and regional roads for all freight vehicles that are heavier than 7.5.

This decision is validated from July 14, 2024, to July 31, 2024, for the period from 11: 00 p.m. to 17:18x0>, says the announcement published by Durmish.
