Read below Krasniqi's full post:
100 years ago, at the age of 34, one of the rarest of our national history, Azem Bata, came down heroicly. Although he did not live long, the feats and activity of Azem exceeded his youth. He was an active part of resistance against a dying empire and became the central personality of the era of first resistance against the Serbian and Yugoslav occupation.
Ever since they killed his father, Bata, Azem vowed a life against invaders and the freedom of Albanian lands. Within the framework of Cacak Movement, he participated in many wars and battles, including the Urecaca Utility, the Dukagjin one and then the Yunik.
Not wanting even dead to fall into the hands of Serbian ethnicists, Azma had left the wombs buried in a secret place that would have been completed after the fall, his wife Chhota and his fellow fighters, burying him in the “Quku cave that needs”, 75 feet deep. For 47 years our hero's body would be resting there until his return to the village of Galica.
Glory to the nation's hero, Azem Bey Galica!
