Michael Martens, journalist of the German daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, said Germany's Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, could visit Serbia very soon.
Martens wrote that the issue Scholz could go to Serbia is lithium.
“Some sources in Berlin confirm that there are concrete plans (but not yet final) for a close visit of Chancellor Scholz to Serbia, provided the open judicial issues are resolved or are on the verge of resolving”, Martens wrote at “8x3>, adding that the topic will be litium for the German industry.
Serbia is preparing to give Rio Tintos the green light for building Europe's largest lithium mine, two years after Belgrade cancelled the project.
