The first was sentenced to life imprisonment, while the second to 15 years. Gazmend Rexhepi, family lawyer Osmani spoke at T7 about evidence he said appeared to the public after [...]
Gazmend Rexhepi, the Ottoman family lawyer, spoke at T7 about evidence he said showed to the public as they were serious.
There is a feeling that is very serious. It's seen [Dardan Krivaqa] keeping her feeling in very serious condition, and then you can see me walking into the room where she's been feeling for 32 hours. It was this situation...
Rexhepi said this evidence has been key to proving the extent of the crime.
He once again voiced warning that the maximum sentence, according to him, should be applied to Arber Sejdiu.
“We are partly satisfied because of the conviction against the second suspects because he has entered the room where the deceased was 22 times, the first suspect comes out to get bread he enters the room stays 1 minute”, the lawyer said.
He also spoke of a statement that Dardan Krivaqa had made in one of the court hearings that narcotics was consumed with the victim.
“The human body couldn't afford the materials it said were consumed, cocaine, heroin, xanax. It wasn't even when it was a police raid that night. Nothing was found. So that's logic”, he said.
Marigona Osmani was 18 years old when he was killed on August 22nd in 2021 at the residence of the chief accused, Dardan Krivaqa, in Ferizaj.
The Court of Appeals on February 23rd approved the defence attorneys' complaints about the indictment and turned the case into retrial, arguing that there were procedural violations during the process.
