Kosovo Defence Minister Ejup Macedonia has said that Serbia has not stopped provocative exercises either before or after the terrorist attack in Banjska on 24 September. Asked whether there is any possibility of an attack from Serbia, he has said that while the idea of a large “Serbia exists in the region, this poses danger and not just for Kosovo.
But, Macedonia in an interview for the “debate site” in Tv1 has said that Kosovo is willing to face whatever threat it is not only from Serbia but from anyone who has the courage to violate the country's sovereignty.
While there continues to be, feeding and empowering the hegemonistic theory of having a big “Serbia” in the region, this is a threat not only to Kosovo but to all countries. Despite this, we are willing to face any challenge and any threat not only from Serbia, but from whoever dares to affect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country”, Macedonia has said.
