Laundering of the Forum for Women, Peace and Security, Blinken Praises President Osmani for Her Role

US Secretary of State Antony Blicen has mentioned President Vjosa Osmani until today he has held a media conference on establishing the Regional Excellence Centre for Women, Peace and Security.

Kosovo is one of the three countries in the world that is part of this US initiative, and Blinken thanked Osman for the contribution given to this centre.

We have to share the best practices at Grate, Peace and Security beyond our alliance because states become more stable, stronger and breathe into the efforts for stability worldwide, improving stability in our country”, Blinken said.

This year we have President Vjosa Osmani who is present here. President Osmani has been instrumental in the initiative, so these are incubators of ideas and innovation, and we will have third centre in the Philippines”, Blinken said.

The President's office has been selected among three global partners by Secretary Blinken's Office to establish the Regional Excellence Centre for Women, Peace and Security. The Centre's establishment agreement was signed by Osman and the Blinken Office in April 2024, during the Forum for Women, Peace and Security.
