Kurti calls to Albanians in Turkey: Come invest in Kosovo, we have twice as much foreign, export investment

“He announced them with progress, development in the country and governance in these more than three years, cutting off economic indicators showing the rise for twice as much foreign investment and exports, increased tax revenues for 2/3, without changing fiscal policy, and employment rates, especially among youth”, said the ZKM communiqué.

The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met and spoke in Izmir with members of the exile, students and representatives of various Albanian associations from Izmir, Bursa, Manisa and Istanbul.

He announced them with progress, developments in the country and governance in these more than three years, cutting off economic indicators showing a double increase in foreign investments and exports, increased tax revenues by 2/3, without changing fiscal policy, and employment rates, especially among young people.

The prime minister also singled out the reasons why Kosovo offers a favourable investment environment, including the free price of electricity, professional workforce, trust in public institutions, fiscal policies and the fact that Kosovo has recently received its first sovereign credit rating from Fitch Rating. In this case, he called on them to come to Kosovo, investigate the opportunities our country offers and invest, as he expressed his gratitude for the continued and important contribution of our exile to Turkey, as well as in maintaining good reports, even in creating bridges of co-operation between Kosovo and Turkey.

At this gathering, the Metropolitan Mayor of Izmir Dr. Cemil Tugay, with whom Prime Minister Kurti also had a meeting during his stay in Izmir.
