Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi has left the government led by Albin Kurti for the departure of citizens guilty.
Commenting on the number of resident residents released Friday by the Statistics Agency, Krasniqi has said that for four years, Kosovo has lost over 210 thousand people. For that, he has blamed the current government.
The government's “despite numerous delays and population registrations, at last, Kosovo Statistics Agency today published the number of residents in our country. Without being issued here in the accuracy of the published figures, it is bad news and very painful that, based on the official publication of the AKS, it is confirmed that in the last four years alone, Kosovo has lost over 210 thousand people. According to the AKS, in 2020 Kosovo had 1,798,186 inhabitants. Today, however, this agency released the sad figure of just 1,586,659 residents. Citizens, and separately Kosovo's youth, are abandoning the country! Or, rather, the government has abandoned them and their dreams. This news is enjoyed only by those who do not want good for our country. That figure requires urgent political action. Our citizens deserve more and better near their families and, at their place,”, wrote the leader of the opposition Facebook party.
