Kosovo citizen A. D., 33, was caught in Albania's entrance and arrested by the Crime Investigation Sector DVP Kukes, aimed at extradition to Switzerland.

Morina's Border Police detained 1 Kosovo nationals declared in international research from Switzerland for money laundering.
Border Police services, along with implementation of the Free circulation agreement between Albania and Kosovo, have raised vigilance for the crackdown on illegalities on the border, as well as for the ban on citizens signaling as being sought and trying to enter or exit this border.
In this context, in co-operation with DVP Kukes services and as a result of detailed interview and information exchange between Interpol Tirana and counterparts in Switzerland, he was apprehended at Albania's entrance and arrested by the Crime Investigation Sector. He had been declared internationally after Swiss authorities have assigned the security measure “Arrest to prison” for money laundering.
