Lawyer Arianan Koci in a direct link from Serbia has said Serbia's officials have requested additional tests to identify Faton Hajriz's body.
He told T7 that they have demanded that Hayriz's saliva be tested to see the genetic connection.
That, as according to the reasoning of Serbian officials, fingerprints have been partially matched and not entirely.
“Today has been an intense day. I'm in a meeting with the police and the prosecutor this morning, and I have a little strange request right now because it's now being required that Faton's mother spit be taken so that genetic material can be picked up and then compared to Faton's genetic material. I asked why now at this stage and why it wasn't immediately requested at first. According to the police said that fingerprints are not fully matching, so partly match. It looks like there's any damage to my hands or I don't want to speculate in that direction, and they also demanded that the lady come to the first police station Tuesday, their experts pick up the saliva and the secret of his nose, and then they go on with their analysis”, Koci said.
On the other hand, the lawyer said they refused to see Hayriz's corpse because, according to them, it's hermetically closed because of the injuries.
I asked if the lady in Serbia could at least see her son's body. After the talks, they said that not after the body has been sealed airtightly and there are damages”, said lawyer Arian Koci.
