Another arrest of former Kosovo Liberation Army soldiers occurred Wednesday night. Blerim Ramadani has been banned in northern Macedonia this time. And with him was his wife Valbona, who spoke of Dukagjin.
The arrest occurred yesterday, around 13:20, we were stopped at the border for document checks,” said Ramadani.
His wife has said that Blerim was arrested because she was in the KLA.
The “said the stop was due to KLA participation, I talked to them, well it was their behaviour towards him and to me, it was very good,” added Ramadan.
Blerim Ramadani had accompanied his wife to the city of Tetovo after Valbona studies there.
Ramadani is former member of the Nerodime Operative Zone of the KLA.
MPJD has announced it is in close co-operation with Macedonian authorities to ensure Ramadani's swift release.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti, also at a media conference, has said Kosovo institutions are in constant communication with the Government of Northern Macedonia.
Our Ministry of Justice and not only are they in communication with the Government of Northern Macedonia, with the relevant sectors there in order to find out more about Kosovo's citizen, who is being held in custody there”, Kurti has said.
