According to preliminary results of the population census ( ReKos 2024, the number of registered residents in Kosovo is 1 586 659, of them 795 046 are men and 791 614 women.

Over 99.8% of coded objects, including new ones, were covered by the census.
In Kosovo's 4 northern municipalities: Leposaviq, Zubin Potok, Zvecan and Mitrovica suffered a major boycott, despite some of them being registered. ” It says further in the official announcement issued by the AK.
