Haxhiu, in a post on the X platform, has identified citizens Nezir Mehmetaj, Hasan Dakaj, Sadik Duraku and Tefik Mustafa as persons held in Serbian prisons.
The past “I asked the Serbian justice minister to move our citizens held in Serbian prisons. Nezir Mehmetaj, Hasan Dakaj, Sadik Duraku and Tefik Mustafa must return to Kosovo for a fair and impartial trial by authorities”, Haxhiu has written.
On paper, Haxhiu also referred to the basic agreement on normalising relations between the two states, stressing the need for respect for the rights of prisoners and meeting international commitments.
Otherwise, some of the arrested Kosovars are staying in Serbia's prisons for years now.
Last week, I read the Serbian Minister of Justice to transfer our quotes who are being able in Serbian priors. Nezir Mehmetaj, Hasan Dajaj, Sadik Duraku, and Tefik Mustafa should be returning to a fair and official trial by the authorities. Pic.twitter.com/P5jd9KrG9w
