Haxhiu requests special measures: Removing Krasniqi's tie, absurd act

In a letter to Trendafilova, Haxhiu has named the demand for the removal of the tie a absurd act.

Krasniqi and other former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders have been held since November 2020. They are accused of joint criminal enterprise, in connection with about 100 murders, then of torture and cruel treatment at about 40 detention centres during the 1998-1999 period. According to the SPS, the indictees have been aware or should have been aware of the cause of leadership positions in the General Staff, over allegations of crimes that have been committed and intended to take power in Kosovo through them.

Former KLA General Staff leaders have denied all these charges. They have said that the KLA had no such hierarchy, since the primary burden was on the commanders of the zones and that it was intended to fight Serbia, not civilians.
