Haradinaj said Agron, Yll and Mehmeti Bytyqi had left the American dream of joining KLA.

“Agron, Yll and Mehmet Bytyqi, American citizens, like many brothers and sisters, had left the American dream of joining the Liberation Army in the most crucial moments for Homeland. ”

He has added that Serbia continues with ignoring crimes and decorating war criminals, among them those allegedly killing the Bytyqi brothers.

The Serbian state only executed them without trial, continues with ignoring crimes and decorating war criminals, among them those suspected of killing the Bytyqi Brothers. ”

Today and every day, we share the pain and pride with the Bytyqi family with the Ahmet Basca and with Mrs. Bahrije and fellow fighters of the EuroAtlantic “”. The human soul, the homeland and their heroism will always be remembered! ”

The Agron brothers, Mehmet and Yll Bytyqi, originating from Kosovo, were arrested in 1999 in Serbia because, as then Serbian officials have said, illegal border crossing.

They were released from prison after being convicted and then killed.

Their troops were found in a mass grave near Petrovo Selos in eastern Serbia in 2001.

The court has said there is no evidence of their involvement in the killings committed in July 1999.
