The chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has welcomed the exiles, but according to him, Kosovo “is still out of their expectations”.
He has written on Facebook on Tuesday that exiles will face long columns of dust and long roads.
Haradinaj has addressed the exiles by saying “don't trust the good words, but empty”.
We would love to find Kosovo this summer the way you dream of it, but unfortunately it is still far from your expectations. I know that when you come, you would like Kosovo to be like that country from where you came from and not to face long columns or dust and rough streets for eastern towns such as Gjilan, Peja, Gjakova, Podujevo, Mitrovica, and so on, which our government has left half as well as many other jobs. You're half of us and you'll never be guests, and we have success and failures in common. We wait for you with bread and salt and heart and give you a good vacation in your homeland. Others do not forgive or trust in good but empty words once more. Kosovo and you deserve better”, he wrote.
