German Foreign Minister: Russia to remain Europe's biggest security threat

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbox has declared during a debate in the German Bundestag that Russia remains the biggest threat of security and freedom in Europe in the future, and has called on NATO to continue supporting Ukraine. “Russia will remain the greatest threat to our security and freedom. “Russia will remain the biggest threat to our security and freedom in Europe in the future”, the German minister stressed, telegraphy broadcast.
She added that the West must take action to protect freedom and democracy.
We didn't pick this, we didn't want this. Germany has special responsibilities in this regard”, she added, referring to disagreements within the coalition regarding the 2025 budget.
Select Summit NATO is expected to be held in Washington from 9 July to 11 July, where various issues, including war in Ukraine, will be discussed.
