World Football House, F The IFA, it has said Wednesday that it has launched investigations into racist calls by Argentina footballers, following the triumph at the American Cup.
“FIFA is aware of the video being circulated on social networks and is investigating incident”, the media official said. FIFA, foreign media write Wednesday.
“FIFA condemns any form of discrimination by anyone, including players, fans and club officials”, has been told away by FIFA official.
Calls have been heard live in a video posted on social networks by the midfielder of Chelsea and Argentina, Enzo Fernandez, on Sunday after the Columbia triumph in Miami.
Several players, including 23-year-old Fernandez, sang songs that were heard even after Argentina's triumph over France at the 2022 World Cup.
The song, sung by Argentinian football players, was targeted by France's attacker Kylian Mbppen, while there were also racist and homophobic insults.
Chelsea earlier in the day has announced that she has opened disciplinary procedure against Fernandez for the incident.
Fernandez has apologized for his move.
There are very offensive languages and there is no excuse for those words. I stand against discrimination in all forms and apologise for the action after the euphoria from triumph at the American Cup”, Fernandez has declared.
The complaint in FIFA has also sent France's Football Federation.
France had won over Argentina in an eighth of the 2018 World Cup final.
