Faton Hayriz is the most controversial character in recent days. About two weeks ago he escaped from the Smerkonica prison and since then his name was mentioned in the media and social networks. Recently, he allegedly was involved in the murder of a police officer in Serbia. According to reports, Hayriz has been in Presevo since prison and has been trying to cross into Bosnia and Herzegovina and has faced Serbia's Police, where one of the police officers is dead. Serbia's Interior Minister, Ivica Dacic, has declared today in the early morning hours that in Loznica, a city in western Serbia, one police official has been killed and another has been seriously injured.
As it was made known at the Serbian Interior Ministry statement, police officers around 00:55 during the search of a car at the Linnçka Shora border crossing near Bosnia and Herzegovina have stopped a brand car “Mercedes” with Tutin plates, within which two people were located.
During the car exit, a person has fired a gun, hitting Serbian police official Nikola Krsnovoq (1990) in the chest, while Vjekoslav Illiq (1974) was also shot in the chest, where the attacker left the scene quickly.
Both police officers have been sent to the Loznica hospital, where Krstovic did not survive the injuries until the other policeman has improved his health after surgery.
