Earthquakes in Turkey come first images and details

An earthquake of 4.7 magnitude occurred about 14km southeast of Ezine, Turkey.

As it becomes known, the quake struck at a shallow depth of 10km under the Ezin centre near Camicabir, Canachal, Turkey, Monday afternoon, July 22, 2024, at 5:39 p.m. local time.

A second report was released later by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which also listed it as a 4.8 magnitude earthquake.

Meanwhile, Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikay has shared his social media account with recent information about the earthquake.

Claiming that it started scanning on the ground, Yerlikaya said: “There is no negative situation at the moment. We're assessing the reports coming to the 112 emergency call center one out of a”.
