Citaku confirms PDK participation in Osman election meeting

PDK Secretary General Vlora Citaku has said that this party will participate in the meeting called by President Vjosa Osmani for the national election date.

Citaku said Osman's invitation does not concern the start of early elections, but with the start of the date for fair elections.

“The PDK has accepted the invitation of President Osmani to a meeting about the date of the elections. We will respond to the invitation, we have a legal and constitutional obligation. We will participate in this and the position on this issue and the preferred date will be said there”, Citaku said.

Yesterday, the country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has sent letters to all political party leaders to meet on July 31st in order to talk about the date of the new national elections.
