The building Crooks shot at was a <x0.45 rallying” for one of the local anti-soldier teams, according to a federal law enforcement official familiar with security plans.
The source also said a team was deployed in, or close, the building. There were a total of four sniper teams at the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, including two from the Secret Service and two from local law enforcement.
The source has also said that County Sheriff Butler's Department confirmed that an officer climbed the roof without Croux armed with a rifle and withdrew.
Right after that, Crooks started shooting, according to the source. A little later, an anti-Soldier of the Secret Service shot and killed Crooks.
County Sheriff Butler's Department has declined to comment.
Trump had just begun talking at a rally Saturday evening when the armed person, later identified as Crooks, fired at him, leaving him wounded in the ear.
As a result of the attack, one person has been killed and two others have been injured by the audience.
