It has also demanded that justice should investigate whether RTK's leadership has misused office by favouring Vetevendosje and damaging public interest through false news.
“Bord of RTK must immediately dismiss RTK's director, who is the tool of Vetevendosje on public television. The board must resign because they had shamelessly voted a member of Vetevendosje for public television leaders. If they fail to resign, procedures for their dismissal in the Assembly must be initiated. Justice must investigate whether RTK leadership has misused the task by favouring Vetevendosje and damaging public interest through false news”, it wrote on Facebook.
Furthermore, she has said the Kosovo Assembly must establish a Parliamentary Investigative Commission to investigate everything that happened in RTK.
For coming to power, Vetevendosje has brutally attacked the main pillar of democracy, which is the media. With RTK's submission, Vetevendosje through the RTK Board with the support of power workers has jeopardised democracy. There is no other way than to return legitimacy and let the media function independently. RTK is the public asset of this country, and we need each to keep it like any property of this society. Once again, I am reminding you of the LDK's reaction to the name of LVV's man for director in RTK. We also oppose such an act and boycott. RTK as the party's man” at the top, Bajrami said.
Otherwise, director Riley Gervala admitted to sending the link to the news of “Slobodna Bosna”, but added that she has not put pressure on editor Jeton Musliu, who has confessed and put pressure on publishing that chronic.
Since Monday, reactions in Kosovo have not invaded, many RTK journalists have distanced themselves, while several deputies of the Vetevendosje Movement have attacked the media.
