Bad news for Kosovo citizens wanting to work in Germany
From the Agency for Jobs to this day, I am told that the entire contingent of countries for preferences (Vorabustimmung) has been completed for Kosovo citizens for 2024. This means that no Kosovo citizen can anymore seek this kind of preference, which is necessary for receiving a term at the German Embassy in Pristina. A work contract is required under the Order for the Western Balkans, and a “Vorabustismung”, which is required by the company that gave you a job contract. But for Kosovo citizens, there have been less than two months of demands that the contingent has been met for 2024. According to the Order for the Western Balkans annually, 50,000 terms are given for work permits for all Western Balkan countries. Kosovo is given for a month short of 1,000 terms. As for other countries, for Albania, Northern Macedonia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina has been completed for July. While in August they may still demand the term... There have been abuses in requests for Kosovo citizens... but all the details are in a video you can find in this channel a little lower...
