At the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Tirana, public views are being held in honour of Ismail Kadare, the largest Albanian writer to die Monday at the age of 88.
A state ceremony in honour of the writer will follow suit at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet.
While at 12:30, the procession leaves for the Tufina cemetery in Tirana.
At 1300, each event will be interrupted and a minute silence will be held in honor of Kadare.
