Arrested and suspended by police in Istog, accidentally injured his 16-year-old family member

On the other hand, it becomes known that the injured person in this case (at 16 years of age who has family ties with police) has been rushed to Pristina for medical treatment at first and then sent to the Regional Hospital of Pec.

“Based on initial preliminary investigations allegedly occurred at the police official's home, which until this phase of the investigation allegedly accidentally fired the official gun”.

The suspected person in this case (police official) has been arrested by the Police Inspectorate on suspicion that the same has committed the same criminal act “the attempted suicide” and, at the verdict of the same prosecutor, has been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours and has been suspended.

IPK investigators along with the forensics unit, the regional investigation unit and other units will take necessary investigative actions at the site of the incident in continued consultation with the prosecutor responsible.
