Albulen Haxhiu interviewed by Special Prosecutor

The Special Prosecutor announced that she was interviewed Monday by Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu over her statements of recent escapes from Kosovo prisons.

The Special Prosecutor confirmed the news through a press release.

“Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, announces the public opinion that under Special Prosecutor's permission, Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has been interviewed today.

Its interview has occurred in order to clarify its statement given on the Dukaagjini TV media, on the “Debat Plus show on July 02th 2024, concerning possible meetings and discussions with prosecutors and judges for certain cases, as well as its posting to the July 20th 2024 social network, concerning the escapes that occurred from Kosovo prisons.

Hadzi's interview to clarify these issues will continue tomorrow”, the announcement said.

Days ago, Minister Haxhiu has declared that, according to information, escapes from prisons are organised and promoted by criminal groups “related to power structures on Serbia's territory”.
