The Kosovo government has put comments towards the European Union on the sequence plan for implementation of the agreement with Serbia within the deadline. From the Kosovo government, in a written reply, have shown some of the issues addressed in the seven-page document.
Some of the issues addressed by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo through submitted comments concern the full implementation of the Basic Agreement, the whole of all its provisions and, of course, acceptance of the agreement by the parties, given Serbia's frequent, public, and public refusal to the Bazic Agreement. Also, the need for non-deviance has been voiced, but respecting the principles of the agreement, and where one example is that of walking parallel in action, where one side takes another step and the other takes another”, the Kosovo Government says.
In these comments, according to the Government, arguments have also been offered that Kosovo has been constructive in this process, while Serbia has repeatedly violated provisions of the agreement.
“In the document have also offered comments and arguments on whether the Kosovo side has fulfilled a part of its commitments, while Serbia's response to this constructiveity on our part has been continued violations of the spirit and provisions of the” agreement, said among other things.
Political issues recognise the dialogue process could be unblocked if comments are taken into account.
“If it will be an international factor's commitment and be based on comments sent by the parties and take seriously Kosovo's comments that the agreement must be implemented in a parallel manner, and that it also requires Serbia not to hinder Kosovo's path to membership in new international organisations and recognition, then there may be hope that the agreement will be implemented. If it continues with a tolerant policy towards Serbia and on the other hand put pressure on the establishment of association, I can say we will stay where we are, in a statement of the dialogue process”, analyst Fidan Ukaj told RTK.
