“Srebrenica is not just a place on the map, but a symbol of the constant need for justice, the importance of truth and the power of memory. The horrors of that dark chapter, when over 8 thousand Bosnian boys and men were brutally murdered by Milosevic's genocide regime, are memories of human cruelty. Today, on Memorial Day in recognition of the genocide in Srebrenica, we honor the memory of innocent lives lost and reiterated that lasting peace is possible only when there is justice for victims”, Osmani wrote on Facebook.
