ZPS to witness 70: He was a member of LDK, who was detained and beaten.

According to the summary read by SPS representative prosecutor James Pace, the witness was a member of the LDK, who had been detained along with another person and beaten, reports “The Justice Vow”.

“Witness 03170 was an LDK member who was arrested along with another person. During the transfer to one of the places where these persons were detained, witness 03170, his hands and hands were tied and they were threatened and beaten and”, Pace said, continuing questions at the private session with the reasoning for protecting the witness.

The statements the witness had previously issued for the SPS, along with surveillance materials, were accepted as material evidence.

On April 29th 2022, the Specialised Prosecutor's Office had handed over a amended indictment to Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhepi and Jakup Krasniqi, where four indictees have committed war crimes even in Gjilan, Budakov and Semetish.

On November 9th 2020, in their first appearances, Hashim Thaci's Jakup Krasniqi has been declared innocent of the charges placed on them. Wessel has also been declared in his presentation on November 10th, as has Rexhep Selimi, November 11th.

The Act against Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi has been confirmed, on October 26, 2020.
