“Our team is working to get more signatures. It is important for us that every part of the world, every country and any leader who respects international law can show that they appreciate efforts to bring peace and to establish the full effectiveness of the United Nations Charter goals and principles”, Zelensky said.
The Peace Summit, he added, showed that “It is possible to restore all aspects of security and true peace”.
But this, according to Zelensky, requires world unity. “We're working on a union like this. Thank you all for helping”He said Zelensky.
As previously announced, representatives of more than 80 countries signed at the Swiss Peace Summit, attended by 92 countries -- a declaration in which “territorial integrity” Ukraine's was declared the basis for any peace accord that would end the war with Russia.
