Xhemajl Rexha calls Prime Minister Kurti: Turkey Bans Power Attacks on Journalists

Kosovo Journalists' Association Chairman Xhemajl Rexha has spoken of the inappropriate language and the serious insults made by the power deputy, Dimal Basha, in the direction of journalists and activist Jullar Kusari. Rexha has said that this is the continuation of what has been seen in recent years, where VV government officials Kurti and VV deputies did not stand to offend and organise denigration attacks on journalists because of the work journalists do.
“This is a series of what we've seen in recent years. Government officials and government deputies filed cases without insulting the media and without organising denigrating attacks on journalists because of work”, Rexha has said.
Kosovo journalist running AGK has said such attacks should be halted, until the word <x0-tage”, mentioned by MP Dimal Basha, has no connection whatsoever.
“should stop these attacks because of the positions they hold. Use the speaker to insult the media with that silly word of “tage”. And an attack on activist butterfly Kusari is completely unacceptable. ”, added Rheja away.
He has invited Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti to act to stop such attacks on journalists.
We have Prime Minister Kurti stopping this series of attacks because of the damage they do to Kosovo”, Rexha said.
He says that this Government has created a bad climate for journalists and wants to lower the trust of public media opinion and bring media to the level that VV voters will not believe even if loud and figure scandals are reported and argued.
“It's a pity he's back in practice. It's very easy for anyone to return such a language to the media. They do it deliberately to reduce credibility in the media. Bring the situation for their voters not to trust the media, even if they report and document scandals that this government may be involved in the voice of the figure”, Rexha said in T7.
Rexha has said that even social networks are attacked by journalists who serve Serbia or opposition parties.
