Xhavit Haliti exposes uninformed “”: Sí plan for Rugova assassination in Tirana

Xhavit Haliti, one of the founders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, has published a scripture through which he said he would demanate the uninformed “who are speculating that he had a trap to kill Ibrahim Rugova”.

Haliti said he is presenting several evidence “ ” that “was planning to kill Rugova in Tirana”.

He wrote that after the return of Kosovo's delegation from the 1999 Rambouillet Conference, “Rugova at Rinas Airport has had no concern”.

This is the truth about the landing of the plane at Rinas Airport in Tirana, with members of the Kosovo delegation at the Rambouillet Conference (Paris).

I'm publicly presenting some facts to expose uninformeds who speculate that there was a trap to kill Ibrahim Rugova.

After the completion of the Rambobill Conference and the signing of the agreement in Paris, Kosovo's delegation was about to return to Kosovo, but as was communicated to us by the mediators, the landing of the plane on which we would travel would not be allowed at Pristina Airport.

International representatives were concerned.

With our proposal, the Kosovo delegation, it was decided that the military plane would land in Tirana and Skopje.

Those who wanted to stop in Tirana would land at Rinas Airport in Tirana, while those who wanted to stay in Skopje or travel to Kosovo would land at Skopje Airport.

Members of the delegation from the KLA decided to stop in Tirana, and some after two or three days via land routes were introduced to Kosovo.

Before the plane was launched, I was tied over the phone with President Recep Mejidani.

I told him that we would land in Tirana and proposed that as president it would be good to receive Kosovo's delegation at Rinas Airport.

During the conversation, he hesitated over protocol, but when we landed, President Maydani was waiting for us.

The entire delegation got off the plane, except Rugova.

After we settled in the VIP hall at Rinas Airport, the French ambassador with some of Majidan's staff went and brought Rugova to our hall.

The waiter then brought the drinks...

Rugova looks in good mood. Perhaps, even because after breaking up with Sali Berisha, he had not stayed in Tirana for four years.

The meeting was very open and brotherly.

Rugova vowed that very soon he would officially visit Tirana.

Following talks between Mejidani and Rugova, as well as other members of the Kosovo delegation and after taking a few breaks, Rugova with a part of the delegation left for Skopje.

And from Skopje how they entered Kosovo, I am not aware, but Rugova at Rinas Airport has had no concern.
