Wessel's Thaci mentioned on her liberation anniversary, Citaku: That makes it smaller only the leaders can rewrite history

They can't rewrite the story.

So stated PDK Secretary General Vlora Citaku, in an interview with the Blic newspaper, speaking of not mentioning former heads of state and former KLA leaders found in The Hague, by state leaders.

She says it only makes the current heads of state smaller and not those who fought for the country and brought freedom.

“History no one can rewrite it, nor can anyone recall it. We live in another era. Kosovo's freedom and independence is inevitable related to the sacrifice and contribution of women and men who had the courage to dream of freedom in an extremely serious situation. Today, of course, for young men and women who are 25 years old and have not lived the occupation may seem like a film scenario, but today they live in free Kosovo, born free in Kosovo thanks to the women who have dared to dream of it impossible, freedom and independence and have dared that with a rifle in hand and with a big heart, they face Serbia as one of the greatest military powers of the day.
