How was the weapon recovered from members of the terrorist group who carried out the attack on Banjska, known so far?

Kosovo police, following information received by the Kosovo Agency for Intelligence, have found and seized yesterday a quantity of weapons north of Mitrovica, which was hiding from former members of the terrorist group that carried out the attack in Banjska on 24 September last year.

Police director's duty to the northern region, Veton Elshani, during a news conference featuring weapons found and confiscated, has revealed that the weapons and other equipment found have been there for a long time.

He has said that the two suspects in Banjska's case, Zarko Cvetkovic and Marijan Radojevic, who connect with the event, are on the run.

Both locations have names, the first location is related to the name Marijan Radojevic, while the second location is connected to Zarko Cvetkovic... and both are looking for Banjska case... We consider that this weapons and these devices are there for a longer time”, Elshani said.

There are long arms of different calibres, pistols, hand grenades and so on from the introduced weapon.

The first location is north of Mitrovica, in the vicinity of the Three Rrocaqijs, connects with the research person, Marjan Radojevic, while the next location is on “shire Cheeta of Miators”, north of Mitrovica that connects with the research subject Zarko Cvetkovic. Three long AK-47 rifles, four 60 rounds, an 11-round comb, a pistol cap, a military bag.

And in the second location, there's been found a belt of 25 rounds of bullets for hunting, 23 rounds for hunting weapons, TT pistol with a eight-round clip, three rounds of eight rounds, two rounds of rounds in the fossils, 28 rounds for long arms, 10 rounds of long rifle bullets (99 bullets), a box with bullets 762, four rifle cleaners, boxes with suspicious materials.

In the third location have been found a long gun in the quays, a two-accused pistol with eight rounds of 75862 and a fossil, black bag with gun cleaning gear, two boxes of 50 rounds of 75062, three rounds of eight rounds of paper, long hunting bags.

The images of the weapons found were later published on the “X” platform, Interior Minister Jedal Svecla.

He said destabilizing threats from Belgrade would be rejected by law and order.
