Vidovdan's celebration in Kosovo, Police: There were no incidents, one person was escorted to the police station

Kosovo police have announced that during the manifestation of <x0Vovdan” there have been no incidents, except for the association of a person at the police station for interview under legal procedures, Periscopi writes.

As noted after the completion of this activity, participants have been distributed.

We inform you that concerning the manifestations of <x0Vovdan” held today at 28.06.2024, Kosovo Police have in time taken planning and operational measures to manage the security situation, preserve public order, orientation of road traffic and border management.

Police authorities have seen necessary planning, co-ordinating, preventing and operating measures in all departments and police areas so that manifestations in locations where they are meant to develop smoothly and without incident.

Reference to information from engaged police units on the field was not reported any case that has affected the management of manifestations, except a person's association at the police station for legal proceedings.

After completing afternoon activities, all participants have been scattered quietly.

Kosovo police remain committed to implementing its legal duties and authorisations, managing the security situation, implementing the RKS Constitution in office to ensure a safe and secure environment for all citizens indiscriminately.
