After meeting union activists in Peja and Gjakova, this event supported by the American Center of Solidarity, has continued in Prizren with union activists from this city and from Suhareka, Dragashi, Prizren's Mamusa and University.
Part of this union activity are representatives of the Kosovo Institute for Justice, Mr. Naim Jakaj and Mrs. I arrived Rezniqi, who has introduced the manual for declaring the legal strike, which they have prepared in co-operation with the SBASK.
As in Peja and Gjakova, as in Prizren, participants have wished the Government would change access and literally start dialogue with the SBASK and if that does not happen, then they have expressed concern that membership would require union action by not excluding even the general strike in September. Even at the meeting in Prizren, the director of the American Solidarir Centre with headquarters in Tirana, Mr. Steven McCloud has told of the centrist's commitments leading the centre, adding that it will continue with co-operation to strengthen the union voice even more.
Mr. Chairman of SBASK. Rhetman Jasharaj has even in Prizren praised union activists for their dedication by thanking Mr. Seven for all SBASK support commitments and proudly recall the friendship created in the difficult years for Albanian education with the American Teachers' Union and trade unions from countries in Europe and the world. Jasharaj has reiterated that the union will continue with commitments to have dialogue and to establish legitimate membership requirements, which were published in the May 1st protest, but if the government continues with the wrong approach to union and dialogue, then we will tighten the ranks and start with union action, not excluding the general strike by resoculating the voice of membership will.
The conversation with union activists even in Prizren has been held by SBASK deputy chairman Mrs. Vjollca Shala, co-ordinator for internal organisation Mr. Ymer Ymer and IKD representative Mr. Naim Jakaj also answered the question of participants in this activity by presenting the contents of the doracac for the proclamation of legal strike.
At union activists' meetings in Pec, Prizren's Gjakova was ordered to continue with efforts to have dialogue on implementing legitimate membership requirements, but if the government continues with the wrong approach, then it will go with union action, not excluding the general strike in the entire Kosovo educational system.
Such meetings to negotiate strikes and present the manual for declaring the legal strike will also be held with union activists from other Kosovo municipalities.
