Tourism in Kosovo during 2023, the number of visitors totals 6211,000

Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has published the annual Hotel Statistics Report for 2023.

Under the research of Hotelery and Tourism in 2023, the number of visitors (placers and foreigners) was 621 thousand and 486, of them 42.4%, were locals and 57.5% were abroad.

The net concentration number was 1 million and 547 thousand and 462, of them 51.7% of the locals and 48.2% of the foreigners”, the AK has announced.

In 2023 the number of local visitors increased by 61.9% in proportion to 2022, the nights of local visitors increased by 199.0%.

“We have increased foreign visitors for about 20.2%, while foreign visitors' nights have increased by 37.0% in terms of 2022”, the report said.

The largest number of domestic visitors has the Pec region with 86,470 visitors and in 409,293 overnight stays.

As for foreign visitors compared to the preliminary period (2022) there is an increase of visitors for 20.2%. In total, 357,717 foreign visitors, of which the largest number is from Albania, Germany, Switzerland Turkey and so on.
