Terrorist attack on Banjska, three suspects continued detention by two months

Subtitled to your request for information, we inform you that following the request of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo to continue the detention measure in the criminal case against defendants V. T, B.S. and D. M, the Basic Court in Pristina é special department with the date of 21.06.2024 has received the verdict and has approved the request of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, so that the detention measure of three defendants has been continued in length of 2 (two) months”, the tribunal's response reported.
Toliq, Spasojevic and Maksimovic are located under detention from September 26th 2023.
They are suspected of criminal acts “grave acts against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo”, “The attack against the constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo”, “The preparation of terrorist acts or criminal acts against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo” and “holds ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons”.
In Baysnka, Zvecan, in the early hours of September 24, 2023, was killed by Sergeant Africa Bulnjak and two others were injured. Then there were three attackers left, while others had fled for several hours to the Biensca Monastery.
