Tahiri has said we should build a new moment for membership in the KiE.
We are at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe at the summer session, where we have meetings with political groups and the president. What I mean for the citizens of Kosovo is that we have to work to build a new moment. The moment we've had we don't have anymore. And to restore the integration agenda and push ahead the decision of the Committee of Ministers, it takes a very big commitment. A new momentum that will enable Kosovo membership”, Tahiri has said.
Tahiri has added that the conditions should be seriously addressed by the Kosovo government.
“membership must occur because the report is decidatory that Kosovo deserves membership. As for the conditioning, it should be seriously handled by the Government of Kosovo and take a responsible action in this regard. A not easy road is ahead and full of challenges, but I am optimistic that membership will happen”, Tahiri said.
