Kosovo's Energy Efficiency Fund (FKEE) has announced that on Friday 14 June, a review of the waiting list for applicants who expressed interest last year to benefit from the subsidisation of investments for implementation of efficient energy measures in individual homes begins.
According to a report from the Fund, the initial call for benefit from the subsidisation enabled by the European Union and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has been active from August 8th 2023 to September 25, 2023.
The FKEE has invited all applicants to the waiting list, which, according to the announcement, is about 1,000 Sosh, to report the FKEE if they are still interested in benefiting from the subsidy implementation of Energy Efficiency Measures (MEE).
For all concerned, we find that the criteria required to qualify for subsidy are: The house will be habitable in the last 21 of the last 24 months (as a basic criterion), which has an electricity consumption of at least 250 kWh (kilovat/h) per month; Also, one must be met at least one of the following criteria: a) the house has no thermoisation or is under minimum technical requirements (the isolation of the outside wall is below 8cm, the thermosym of the roof below 10cm, and the house has doors and windows not efficient); or
b) The house is partially isolated, but one or more of the dot measures is not met by minimum requirements.”, the statement says.
This Fond has announced that under the MSPI Rule No.04/18 for the minimum energy performance requirements of buildings, thermal isolation of outside walls remains a mandatory criterion in all cases.
“This means that if the applicant doesn't invest in thermosolution, other measures will not be approved. In order for the process to be faster, efficient and transparent, we announce all applicants on the waiting list to check their e-mails (e-mail), in which, on June 14, 2024, they will accept notice and demand to express their interest in moving forward with the process. At the same time, we suggest that the absence of any of the information required in the email will result in a disqualified request for further treatment. ”, said away in notification.
The FKEE expects confirmation from all applicants on the waiting list from Friday, June 14, 2024 to Sunday, June 23, 2024.
