It becomes known that Sumar, who met last year to help protect the right extreme during the general elections in Spain, won only three seats.
Even the leftist coalition, as one of the leading members of Sumar, failed to win a single seat, writes SkynewsHe's following in on Telegrafie.
As a result, Diaz has decided to resign as Sumar's co-ordinator, though she will continue with her ministerial duties.
These last elections have acted as a mirror”, Diaz said in a statement.
“People do not make mistakes when voting, nor do they make mistakes if they decide not to vote”, she added.
This is always our responsibility and, of course, in this case, this is my responsibility. I've decided to leave my post as the coordinator of Sumar”.
