Former Secretary General NATO, Javier Solana, has turned to the people of Kosovo for the 25th anniversary.
In his message, Solana says “keeps the people of Kosovo at heart”.
He said Kosovo must become a strong state.
“You should be able to preserve democracy, capable of maintaining freedom and ready to prepare for the big change, which will be European integration”, he said in his message to the people of Kosovo.
On June 12th 1999, NATO troops enter Kosovo, eventually releasing the country from the Serbian occupant.
On this day, the centuries-old dream of the people of Kosovo for freedom was fulfilled.
