Many drivers dream of having a more powerful engine without spending any large amount of money.

All you have to do is reduce the amount of oil on the engine. Of course, this movement conflicts with healthy sense and all that we have learned about the essential roles of oil on a motor. However, this works, and a specific test shows how much.

On YouTube, The Motor Oil Geek, a motor test has been published on a dynamometer of different amounts of oil.

The test was conducted in collaboration with Ben Strader from private technical school EFI University, and a Chevrolet V8 engine was submitted to the test.

They start with a minimum amount of oil, so it's no wonder oil pressure is low. However, the measuring device shows a maximum power of even 649 horsepower.

They add oil, and engine pressure increases to an acceptable level. Unfortunately, power drops to 630 horsepower.

Finally, with the declared quantity of oil, the power of the engine reaches 569 horsepower, which is about 10 percent less than the initial value.
