Serbian authorities at the Merdar border point have also arrested a Kosovo citizen named Tefik Mustafa under suspicion of war crimes. Kosovo's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore (MPJD) has condemned his arrest, while for this case it has reported internationals. Meanwhile, in April a Kosovo citizen was arrested for the same suspicion.
Kosovo's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed the arrest of the citizen, Tefik Mustafa, at the border checkpoint in Medare.
MPJD has denied allegations leading to the arrest of Mustafa, which are “Claimed war crimes against the non-Albanian population during the 1999 Kosovo war.”
Meanwhile, according to the MPJD, the Interconnecting Office of the Republic of Kosovo in Serbia has announced US and Great Britain missions and other states in Belgrade for the arrest of Mustafa.

Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dacic has spoken about the case. He has cited the case, allegedly involving Mustafa in 1999.
“This afternoon at the Merdare crossing has arrested a man suspected of war crimes against Kosovo's civilian population, this is Tefik Mustafa, who as a member of The KLA in witness statements has been cited as participants in police kidnapping Goran Marinkovic, Zivojin Pavic and Predrag Milosevic, who happened on June 19, 1999, on the Pristina-Gylane highway near the town of Labljanin, after which all traces were lost.” he said, writes Serbian media.
This is not the first time Serbia has arrested Kosovars on war crimes charges.
Thus, on 17 April, Serbia had arrested Sadik Duraku with British citizenship.
Duraku was arrested at a border crossing between Croatia and Serbia, during the time Serbia had stopped all bus flow from Kosovo.
Sadik has been assigned detention measures.
