Sending the draft to Venice Commission, Haziri: Kurt knows his bad deal doesn't pass, so he wants a commission out of the country.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said the EU's emissary for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, could send the draft to the Venice Commission.

But, EU spokesman Peter Stano said the “inclusion of the Venice Commission is not seen as part of the 2013 and 2015 agreements for the establishment of the Serb majority municipality association”.

Regarding this issue in a proposal for Blic newspaper, LDK Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri has also spoken.

Haziri says that these Kurt maneuvers have given him credit to Kosovo partners as a leader who fails to keep his word and flees state responsibilities.

“A prime minister like Kurti who trusts the Venice Commission more that the Sovereign Court of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo is to be seen as the new glad tidings or the greatest unbeliever of even the agreement Kurti and Vucic have accepted. These political maneuvers have given him the assessment of Kosovo's partners as the leader who does not keep his word and left for the state's responsible. Kosovo has decided on the country's position with bad policies, and these bad policies endanger ethnic communities”, Haziri said.

He says Kurt can't get away from his obligations but is just trying to buy time. Where he adds that the Venice initiative came after the re-election of the Constitutional Court Speaker, where he stresses that Kurti's agreement will not be passed.

Haziri argues that Kurti fears the agreement does not pass and is therefore seeking a commission outside Kosovo.

“Can't escape or evacuate his obligations but is only buying time. They did it for purposes and conditioned within the country. It seems the worst news for him is not Stano's statement, but the initiative for Venice came after the Constitutional Court Chairman's re-election last week. I wish for the new mandate and believe in the impartiality of this court. Kurt's bad agreement does not exceed, but their verdict will help Kosovo and the unique character of state organisation. This fears Kurti and requires a commission outside Kosovo, even though he was nowhere and never mentioned in the talks”, Haziri concluded.
